Melissa's practice includes acting for commercial retail, office and industrial landlords and tenants in a variety of leasing matters. Melissa's skill set also includes drafting and negotiating telecommunications license agreements, facilitating purchases, sales and the financing of residential property, documenting corporate activities, and registering business names and trade-marks.
Melissa joined the firm as an associate after working with Daoust Vukovich LLP as both an articling student and a summer student. Melissa was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2008 after receiving her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to entering law school, Melissa attended York University, majoring in psychology. Melissa was a member of the Dean's Honour Roll and graduated magna cum laude with her Honours Bachelor of Arts in 2004.
Melissa is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association and is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
